LinkedInAbout Whitespace
We keep Whitespace small so the people you talk to are the people actually thinking through and building the work.
We help small and local businesses simplify digital problems and build only what they need.
Digital projects often become more complicated than they need to be. More tools, subscriptions, and technology don't automatically create a better result.
We start by understanding the business and simplifying the problem before choosing a solution.
Understand the business. Simplify the problem. Choose the right solution.
Build only what you need.

How it started
Frazer and Dongwon met while studying and began working together on projects. It didn't take long to see that they approached problems, made decisions, and built things in a way that worked well together.
Frazer had grown up close to a family-run small business. Dongwon was drawn to making technology easier for people to understand and actually use. Those two perspectives became the idea behind Whitespace: a studio that helps small businesses make better use of the technology available to them.
Technology keeps moving. Small businesses shouldn't have to keep up with all of it.
We keep learning so we can be the bridge between what's technically possible and what's actually useful. We keep up with the technology so our clients don't have to — and use it when it makes the solution better, simpler, or more economical.
How we work together
You work directly with the people thinking through and building the project.
We don't have a platform we're trying to sell. We use what makes sense for the business.
We consider cost, maintenance, performance, usability, and what happens after launch — not just how something looks.
Ready when you are
You don't need to know the right technology or have a perfect project brief. Tell us what you're trying to improve and we'll take it from there.
